IP Office Call Tagging displays a text message on the user’s phone, Avaya IP Office one-X Portal for IP Office or IP Office Phone Manager, when a call is presented to it. Call tagging provides additional information about the call. The IP Office Call Tagging feature is used to provide additional information about the call to the targeted user before they answer it. Call Tagging may be used when transferring a call from Avaya one-X Portal for IP Office, Phone Manager or Soft Console to give caller info if the user doing the transfer is not able to announce the call. It is possible to add a tag to a call automatically using CTI and IP Office VoiceMail Pro. This is also possible based on an Incoming Call Route. On some telephones, displaying the Tag may mean that it is not possible to display the usual call source and target information.
